takes its exploration of urban escapism
to a wholly
unexpected plane, reinvigorating it with
vintage
styling and signature theatrics.
Inspiration is taken
from the spirit and movement of an
eagle, free from
responsibility to anything and enabled
by its
great technical ability to fly. This
concept is re-imagined
with ‘athletic opulence’ as retro joggers
are
sabotaged with dressy materials and
flamboyant
colour blocking. McQueen’s distinct
feathers provide
a final, charismatic, ironic touch to
this
latest ‘flight’ from
normalcy.
